5 Minutes — Take Five mental health film in Switzerland
Prevention campaign · 2026 · The Mental Health Association × Coffee Foundation
Taking five minutes to ask “How are you?” can open an essential conversation.
The brief
Make an act of care tangible.
With Take Five, The Mental Health Association and Coffee Foundation wanted to encourage people to spend a few minutes checking in with someone close to them and opening a conversation about mental health. The film needed to give that invitation an emotional form for the web, social media and campaign events.
How do you speak about tragedy without showing it or reducing mental health to a slogan?

The approach
Tell the aftermath, then return to an action anyone can take.
The film follows Leïla in the days around a loss. The tragedy stays off screen; attention turns to what it changes in her journeys, paperwork and relationships. That point of view leads to the campaign’s invitation: take time to check in.
Begin with a person, not a statistic.
Leïla appears in ordinary places, including public transport. The familiar setting lets viewers follow her without a shocking image or a medical explanation imposed on the fiction.
Let details carry the loss.
At a table covered in papers, gestures and silence convey the burden after the event. The story stays with visible consequences rather than the event itself.
Turn the question towards others.
Scenes in the city and at a flower shop continue Leïla’s inner journey. The campaign links her experience to an open action: write, call or ask how someone is doing, then listen.
How it was made
Film a sensitive subject with restraint.
Fabian Goupil’s direction favours consequences and what remains off screen. Casting, everyday locations and the crew’s work around Leïla sustain that closeness. Set photographs and the making-of show the collective work behind the film.
On set
A professional crew for a sensitive subject.
From the first frame to the final shoot day, the production brought teams together around one intention: making space for a necessary conversation.
The finished film
A 1 min 01 campaign film.
The film carries Take Five’s message for The Mental Health Association and Coffee Foundation. It ran on the campaign website, at events and conferences, and on social media. Presented at GRAND 2026, the campaign was shortlisted in the Ad for Good category. A commission delivered in one month, with two shoot days.
